Jake Porter

Jake Porter works in retail management and currently lives in Nebraska. Porter has a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration and is the owner of Jake Porter Media Enterprises, L.L.C.

Porter has volunteered for and managed several political campaigns including serving as Iowa Coordinator for two Presidential campaigns.  Additionally, before joining the Republican Party, Porter served a term on the Libertarian National Committee and was an At- Large Representative for the Libertarian Party of Iowa.  Porter is also the former Business Manager for a weekly newspaper in Saint Joseph, Missouri.

In 2010, Porter ran for Iowa Secretary of State receiving 33,864 votes which was the second highest in the thirty plus year history of the state party for a statewide or federal candidate.

Today, Porter is considering a future return to Iowa and when he does he is expected to announce an exploratory campaign for Congress or Secretary of State as a Republican.
